INTENDED USE
Breast milk INVBIO® is a consumer product that detects the presence
of alcohol at a level of 10 mg/dL or greater in breast milk.. It is
not intended to be used for the prevention,diagnosis or treatment
of alcohol intoxication, poisoning or other health-related
conditions in women or nursing babies.
HOW THE TEST WORKS
Your body naturally metabolizes the alcohol out of your breast milk
over time. However, the amount of time it takes for the alcohol to
leave breast milk varies from person to person. Alcohol is not
trapped in breast milk, and draining your breasts will not expedite
the elimination of the alcohol out of your system.
PRINCIPLE OF THE TEST
INVBIO® consists of a plastic strip with a reactive test pad
attached to the tip. On contact with breast milk that contains
alcohol, the test pad will change color.

STORAGE
Store INVBIO® in a dry place at room temperature of 41-86℉(5-30℃)
out of directsunlight. Do notfreeze.
SPECIMEN COLLECTION
Express milk directly onto the INVBIO® test pad or in a separate
container. Make sure the container is clean, dry, and entirely free
of alcohol.
HOW TO PERFORM THE TEST
1. Open the pouch and remove test. Do not touch the test pad atthe
end ofthe strip.
2. Observe the pad at the end of the test strip. Test pad should be
white or off white color.
3. Saturate test pad with breastmilk.

B. Dip test pad in small portion of milk from a pumped sample
collected in a clean, dry container. Remove teststrip after 3
seconds.Discard milk.
4. Tap excess breast milk offtest pad.
5. Wait exactly 2 minutes.
6. Read test result by comparing test pad to the Color Card
examples atthe back ofthe InformationGuide.
RESULTS
POSITIVE+:
The result will show you the level of alcohol concentration in
milk, on a scale from 0.01(being the lowest) to 0.05 (being the
highest). You can see the alcohol concentration in your breast-milk
by the intensity of the blue color ranging from sky blue at 0.01 to
light blue at 0.02 and to the darkest shade of blue at 0.05.(Use
scale provided for more details)
NEGATIVE-:
When milk test strip shows no color change, this reads a negative
result, meaning that no alcohol has been detected
